Taking a dig at the memes makers and posting lewd jokes about the much-loved couple, Shawl took to his Instagram stories to say, “Kisi pe haasne se agar tum mein sukhon mil miye, toh laugh lena! Because it’s not you, it’s you!!”
The hunk shared some words of advice with the hashtag “#SpreadLoveNotHate.”
In a statement given to a news portal, Rohman said, ‘Let’s be happy for them, shall we not? love is beautiful.’ He further added that if Sushmita has chosen someone, then that person deserves it.
Rohman’s post comes shortly after rumors spread that the actress was in a secret relationship with Modi since 2013. Old tweets between Sushmita and Lalit resurfaced online, with many speculating that the pair was dating under the radar.
However, ETimes exclusively rubbished the claims and confirmed that Modi and Sen’s affair was recent and it didn’t begin until after she ended her long-term romance with Shawl.
In December 2021, Sushmita confirmed her breakup with the hunk in a post, which read, “We started as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship has grown… the love lives on!! ”
Sushmita and Rohman dated for almost three years before pulling the plug on their romance.
Over the past few months, rumors of a possible reconciliation started spreading when Rohman was spotted with Sush at a couple of parties and even hanging out with his two daughters.
Lalit was earlier married to Minal Sagrani, with whom he has two children. The couple married in October 1991. Tragically, Meenal passed away in 2018 after losing a battle with cancer.
