Sentai has announced that Teasing Master Takagi-san: The Movie It will be released in theaters across North America for a limited period next month.

The anime movie will hit select theaters on August 14 and 15, and you can book tickets now Sentai official website, It’s a follow-up to the beloved anime series of the same name, so you may want to watch the series before watching the movie.
Series veteran Hiroki Akagi is directing the film, while returning writers Hiroko Fukuda, Aki Itami and Kanichi Katou are writing the screenplay. Shin-e Animation is handling the animation of the film.

“Takagi and Nishikata’s final summer in junior high is about to begin, and it’s already off to a savage start,” the film’s official synopsis reads. “When the couple find an abandoned kitten, they decide to work together and care for their furry new partner until they locate their missing mother. This is followed by this ongoing journey of young love. -The true story begins, complete with delightful teasing and hilarious antics from the cast of this beloved series and its fan-favourite characters.”
