What kind of reactions are you getting for ‘Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi’?
I am very happy with the response to ‘Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi’. People love it and can connect with it. This is very unprecedented.
Do you like this trend of films releasing on OTT?
This is a wonderful platform. It is a new platform where filmmakers and actors can showcase their talent. It has given much needed recognition to new talent.
You come from a non-film background, were you always keen to act?
I always wanted to be an actor. When I was in 8th standard, I decided that I wanted to become an actor. But my parents wanted me to complete my studies. After completing engineering in Pune, I moved to Mumbai for my acting career. It was very challenging and there was no godfather in the industry. Slowly, things went well and some projects were found.
What are your thoughts about the mental pressure of actors?
The industry was badly hit during the pandemic. When it comes to the film industry, entertainment is the last priority when health is at stake. Uncertainty in the industry is something that is very challenging.
You are the fittest actor in our industry. How important is it to be fit these days?
is very necessary. I truly believe that a healthy mind is a healthy body. I talk about making time for fitness. You don’t need six-pack abs to be fit. Staying healthy internally is also very important.
Your fans are eager to know your love life and marriage plans.
Marriage is not on the cards yet. I am focusing on my career. Whenever it happens, it will happen.
