Sanjay Dutt breaks silence as ‘Shamshera’ flops at box office: Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna | Hindi Movie News

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who recently appeared in ‘Shamshera’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor, has penned a long note on the film’s flop at the box office. Film’s director Karan Malhotra breaks silence on getting hate for ‘Shamshera’, Dutt shares a note in his support.

Sanjay, in his note on Friday, said that he admires Karan as a filmmaker. The pair had earlier worked in ‘Agneepath’ which proved to be a hit at the box office. Backing his director, Sanjay said that he has a knack for giving characters that strike a chord. The actor also wrote about the hatred the film is getting from the audience. He said that he stands by the film and is hopeful that it will find its way someday.

The note read, “Films are a work of passion – the passion to tell a story, bringing to life characters you’ve never met before. Shamshera is a labor of love that we gave our all. This film made of blood It’s sweat and tears. It’s a dream we brought to the screen. Movies are made for audiences. And every film gets its audience, sooner or later. Shamshera finds that many people hate it: Some of the hate has come from people who haven’t even seen it. I find it awful that people don’t respect the hard work we put in. I admire Karon as a filmmaker and mostly as a person He is one of the best directors I have worked with. In my career spanning four decades. He has a knack for giving characters that strike a chord. We did this with Agneepath, where he played me. for Kancha Cheena Diya. The process of working on it was fantastic. Ho re-hosted me with Shamshera and it was a matter of time before we made this film. Or else brought alive the pure lion.”

He further added, “Karan is like family and success or failure, it will always be an honor to work with him. I will always stand by him. Shamshera will find his tribe someday but until that happens, I will be with the film.” I am determined, the memories we made, the bond we shared, and the laughs we had. The hardships we went through. I thank the entire unit of the film – the cast and crew, who have been with the film for four years. Through the pandemic, through our own personal tough times. Ranbir and I have formed a bond for life with this film. His craft and ability to portray emotion on screen is excellent. It would have been a pain to watch. That’s how eager we are to spread hatred on the work of one of the most hardworking and talented actors of our time. Our commitment to the arts and to it goes beyond the hatred that comes our way. We for the film and its people. Feel the love, it is beyond everything that can be sold. Others will say, people’s job is to say! #shamsheerelshamara.” have a look:

‘Shamshera’ has failed to attract cinema lovers to theatres. Although the audience loved seeing Ranbir and Sanjay in the film, the story and direction did not go down well with them.
