Jason Momoa surprised passengers on a flight in Hawaii on Tuesday as he posed as a flight attendant pushing a snack cart and handing out bottles of water. A video of the actor doing so was first shared on Tik Tok after it was filmed by a passenger and was soon re-shared by fans on other platforms, praising Jason’s gesture. Jason, best known for starring in the DC movie Aquaman and the HBO hit Game of Thrones, was on a Hawaiian Airlines flight on Tuesday. Dressed in a gray suit, the actor had a flower in his hair, just like that airline’s flight attendant. After this he started distributing water bottles to the passengers. As the New York Post reports, the water bottles were of the sustainable Manalu brand, made by Jason himself. Reportedly, Jason also gifted 10,000 Hawaiian Airlines miles to each passenger. However, Jason or the airlines did not confirm or deny this when contacted by Fox News.
The original video posted by Kylie Yoshikawa shows her handing out bottles of water to cheering passengers. The caption read, “When Jason Momoa is your flight attendant.” Kylie said the video was sent to her by her grandmother.
Fans began promotional activity, with one user commenting, “Their marketing team is brilliant.” One fan tweeted, “Now he really is Aquaman.” Many others appreciated the actor’s fun and humble spirit, even if it was for a brand promotion. Some fans have pointed out that the gesture of planting a flower on the left side of the head indicates that it is ‘spoken’ in Hawaiian culture.
Jason is dating Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez these days. The two recently broke up but reports from earlier this week said that they are now back together and ‘working on their romance’. Jason will next be seen on screen in Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, which will release in March next year. Two months later, he would play the villain in Fast X, the tenth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise.
