bike rider Inspired by Danny Lyons’ 1967 photography book of the same name. This is an origin story that takes place in the 1960s. The film follows the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club.

The synopsis reads, “Seen through the lives of its members, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders to a more sinister gang who threaten the unique lives of the original group.”

The film will be directed and produced by Nichols. Producers are Sarah Greene and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones of Tri-State, with Fred Berger as executive producers.

Comer is best known for his acclaimed performance as Villanelle in BBC One’s thriller drama killing eve, which has just finished its fourth and final season. She will next appear in HBO’s Sex Therapy series Big SwissProduced by Adam McKay.
