Vijay Deverakonda says ‘I have no fear’ as he reacts strongly to the ‘boycott Liger movie’ twitter trend | Hindi Movie News

After Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film ‘Liger’ has become the latest target of boycott trend on Twitter. Due to the involvement of Karan Johar in the film, most of the people are boycotting the film.

During a press event in Vijayawada, its lead star Vijay Deverakonda reacted to the same saying that he started the film in 2019 when there was no such trend and by 2020, he was already in the shooting schedule. According to the actor, at that time he felt that there is no one better than Karan Johar to take his film across India. He took Baahubali and showed us a path to North India which was a territory unknown to him. The script and production belonged to him. When he requested a Bollywood director to release the film in Hindi, he took it warmly and now it has got huge reach in the north, Vijay was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

Elaborating further, the south superstar said that he has no fear as he has put his heart and soul into making the film. Vijay feels that when you are right then no one needs to listen. According to him, they are all from this country and they know how much they do for their people and country. Vijay also said that he is not from the batch who tweet while sitting in front of a computer.

‘Liger’ is a pan India movie starring Vijay and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande and others in pivotal roles. The film boasts of a special cameo by none other than boxing legend Mike Tyson. It is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 25, 2022.
