Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for coronavirus for the second time. The megastar took to his Twitter handle to update about the same. He wrote, “T 4388 – I have just tested COVID + positive.. All those who have been in and around me, please do your checkup and get tested too.. 🙏”. have a look:

Mr Bachchan was currently shooting for the new season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and awaits the release of his latest film ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Back in 2020, when Big B tested COVID positive, he was admitted to the hospital and a spokesperson of the hospital confirmed that he had to undergo extensive tests. Back in July 2020, right after the 79-year-old actor tested positive for COVID-19, his son Abhishek Bachchan had also contracted the virus.

At the time, Abhishek had shared the news on Twitter with a statement that read, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. We were both admitted to the hospital with mild symptoms. We have informed all the necessary authorities and our family and staff are being tested. I request everyone to remain calm and not to panic. Thank you.”

He was also recently shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Uchhai’, Vikas Bahl’s ‘Alavida’ and will be shooting for ‘The Intern’ remake with Deepika Padukone.
