The film was announced in 2017 but due to alleged differences, Akshay Kumar Kumar walked out of the project.

After ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Aamir Khan will work on the Hindi remake of Spanish film ‘Campones’. The film will reportedly be helmed by ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ director RS Prasanna and will feature Anushka Sharma as the leading lady.
